  4. Click Download PNG, Download SVG or Copy image, and test-scan the code before printing.

Frequently asked questions

Do these QR codes expire?

No. They are static QR codes: the link or text is stored in the pattern itself, so they keep working as long as the content (for example your website) exists. There is no redirect service that could be switched off.

Can I track how many people scan my QR code?

Not with this tool. Scan tracking needs a dynamic QR code that points to a redirect server which logs visits. You can add UTM parameters to your URL so your own analytics records the visits instead.

Which error correction level should I choose?

Level L restores about 7% of damaged data, M about 15%, Q about 25% and H about 30%. Medium suits screens and clean prints; choose Q or H for codes printed on rough surfaces. Higher levels make the pattern denser.

Why won’t my QR code scan?

The usual causes are low contrast, light modules on a dark background, a code printed too small or a missing quiet zone around it. Keep a dark foreground on a light background, a margin of 4 modules, and test with several phones.
